We Continue to Navigate COVID-19...

As we approach the One year mark of COVID-19, Tops Catering remains unwavered to its commitment to continue safety and high operating standards and procedures navigating COVID-19. 


Our Service levels includes drop-off delivery or full service.  All food service is prepared and handled by our ServSafe Certified catering team members.


We continue to be guided by our  comprehensive safety plan to help protect our Team Members, Clients and Guests in all event settings.


Safe service is our #1 priority!

Yes! We Are Open...

Tops Catering & Events is back in full swing of business offering Chef-prepared hot or cold meals individually package or standard service presentation for office lunches, special events, celebrations, wedding receptions and more! 


Our Service levels include drop-off delivery or full service. All food and service is prepared and handled by our ServSafe Certified catering team. 


We have implemented COVID-19 service protocols to ensure the safety of our customers and staff.

Latest Updates: COVID-19 May 15, 2020

Standard Operating Procedures Update:

Effective, May 15, 2020, Tops Catering will resume full service operations.  As a food service provider, we follow Standard Operating Procedures for food safety and sanitation protocols in our business everyday. We take the health, welfare and safety of our staff, customers and all stakeholders very serious. Thus, we have heightened our normal SOP in response to the COVID-19 crisis.


NEW PRACTICES WE ARE ADOPTING:


  • Education of our entire Team regarding preventive measures for food handling as outlined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC).
  • We have switched to singled wrapped disposable utensils on all drop-off catering orders.
  • We will box individual servings upon request.
  • Service vehicles will be equipped with H\hand-sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes. 
  • All catering service team members must wear masks when on-site at all times.


STANDARD PRACTICES WE WILL CONTINUE:


  • Provide our own ServSafe certified Catering Team members for deliveries and catered events. We DO NOT use 3rd party  delivery services.
  • Maintain strict hand-washing practices. 
  • Adhere to standards and guidelines as set forth by the CDC.

Event Cancellation & Reschedule Policy

At Tops, we are committed to continue making our customer experience a top priority during this unprecendted time of COVID-19. As our State begins to open back up, businesses and citizens we are still face with many uncertainties of any long-term impact.  Therefore, we will be extending our newly adopted COVID-19  Cancellation/Reschedule Policy to be flexible, accommodating and to provide a peace of mind booking events for our clients as follows:
At Tops, we are committed to continue making our client experience a top priority during this unprecedented time of COVID-19. As our 

  • Postponed Events: If any previously booked event is postponed, we will apply a "date transfer" policy that allows the ability to change from the original date to a new date without restrictions or penalty as needed.  Any deposits paid will be transferred to new event date. *Subject to date availability.
  • Cancelled Events: If any previously booked events cannot be rescheduled and must be cancelled, we will apply an extended "rain-check" policy. This policy allows full credit of deposits to apply towards a future event within a 2 year period from the original event date. If client is unable or unwilling to book a future date a 25% cancellation fee will apply. 


Please be sure to contact us asap if event dates need to be changed or should you have any questions regarding this new policy.

GOVERNOR PLANS TO RE-OPEN BUSINESSES

We have been informed that the Governor of Georgia has ordered a re-opening transition of businesses effective Friday, April 24th, 2020. It is our understanding that Phase 1 re-openings do not include food-related businesses.


In the interest of health and safety of our employees and clients, Tops Catering & Events, will continue with our DoorStep delivery service only until further notice. 


We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate our business during these unprecedented challenges of COVID-19.

LATEST UPDATES: COVID-19- April 1, 2020

Doorstep Delivery

Due to COVID-19, we are limiting our catering services to Delivery only.   We will only be catering Chef prepared meals delivered straight to your doorstep by our Culinary trained ServSafe Certified staff. 


Please be advised that as a precaution we will not be using any third-party delivery services for any of our orders  -- your health and well-being are a priority to us. 


The food bags are sealed at our commercial kitchen and only opened again by you. Our doorstep delivery will be of a contactless method as our staff will call you from the driveway to let you know your order has been delivered and wait for you to retrieve it before leaving.

Latest Updates: COVID-19 March 17, 2020

We are here to Serve!

We are monitoring the developments surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak daily.  We are committed to the health and safety of our staff and clients. Therefore, effective immediately, we will be temporarily suspending our full service catering operations in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the CDC and local health officials. 


We recognize that every employee can't work from home. Some companies will have to maintain an onsite workforce even through this crisis and we will be here to serve!.  We have surmised, it will be safer for those employees to have chef prepared catered food brought on-site as opposed to having employees leave the premises to go out and get their own meals every day.


Please be aware that Tops is fully enabled to support your food service needs with our Drop-Off Catering. Our entire team is professionally trained in Food Safety. We have implemented additional steps and precautions including using our own delivery drivers instead of a third-party delivery service.

Our drop-off menu includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for our Corporate Client sector.  In an effort, to support and promote social distancing with the workplace, our first point-of-service will be "Hot" or "Deli" boxed meals. Buffet style can still be serviced upon special request.


As COVID-19, continues to impact our day-to-day business, it remains our intention to continue to do our best to support your catering needs throughout these unprecedented circumstances.
